Ravenheat RSF 82E Microswitch.
These microswitch assemblies have been specially designed for use with genuine Giannoni diverter valves.
The Ezypart model MS01 has a single microswitch mounted in a rigid black plastic housing with a snap-on cover.
The microswitch assembly is mounted on to the diaphragm chamber of the diverter valve, retained with a spring circlip. Insulated electric cables connected to the 6.3mm (¼”) Faston tags on the microswitch convey the operating status of the diverter valve to the combi boiler control system.
When the valve is in the non-actuated position the microswitch is also not actuated. When the valve is actuated as a result of a demand for domestic hot water, the diverter valve spindle extends out of the valve body and the push disc on the end of the spindle presses the contact on the microswitch.
The resultant signal to the boiler control system may cause the gas valve, burner, pump and fan (if fitted) to be switched on, if not already operating. |
