BIASI BI1101102 Electric Actuator (EV02)

These genuine Elbi electric actuators are produced in Italy by the company Elbi International Spa, who are specialists in this field. Elbi International is part of the Bitron Group of companies.

The Elbi actuators are of a well-proven design, with hundreds of thousands being installed in combination (Combi) boilers all over Europe. They are manufactured under strict quality controlled conditions, with each and every actuator being fully tested for operation before being packed.

These Elbi electric actuators operate on 240 volts and are used on the Garda HE M96.24 SM/B & SMD central heating boilers, having the OEM part number BI1101102 being identified by Ezypart with the reference EV02.

The electric actuator performs a critical function within the overall operation of the boiler, being activated every time there is a demand for domestic hot water.

One of the main advantages of these combination boilers is that they provide domestic hot water at the mains pressure, eliminating the need for cold water tanks and shower booster pumps. The electric actuator is the component within the boiler that responds when a demand for hot water, diverting primary (Central Heating) water to a heat exchanger in which the mains pressure domestic water is heated to a comfortable level.

The actuator compromises a black plastic body which is secured to the relevant diverter valve/manifold body using a metal clip. the three electrical (140volt) connections are made via a flexible cable from the boiler control circuit
